This supervision CEU focuses on how supervisors can use Behavioral Skills Training (BST)-instruction, modeling, rehearsal, and feedback-to help supervisees implement ABA supports that are sensitive to PDA characteristics and client autonomy.
Objectives
After this course, you'll be able to:
- Describe the four components of BST and how each can be applied to training supervisees in PDA‑informed ABA strategies.
- Develop at least one PDA‑relevant BST sequence (instruction, modeling, rehearsal, feedback) for a specific clinical skill (e.g., offering demands as invitations, embedding choices).
- Identify two supervision data points (e.g., treatment integrity, client indicators of distress/engagement) to evaluate supervisee performance when working with PDA profiles.
