This 0.5 ethics CEU for BCBAs and BCaBAs strengthens practitioners’ ability to maintain professional competence and personal well-being while working with families. Participants will identify and describe at least three relevant sections of the BACB Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts that address self-care, boundaries, and ongoing competence. Through analysis of at least two case examples, learners will apply the Code to select ethically consistent self-care and boundary-setting responses during challenging caregiver interactions. Finally, participants will develop a written, values-aligned self-care plan that includes clear boundaries, supervision/consultation steps, and in-session regulation strategies to support sustained ethical practice and high-quality services.
